An envelope measuring 114 x 229 mm, often referred to as DIN Long+ or C6/5, offers exactly the extra space that is sometimes lacking in conventional DIN Long envelopes. With its slightly larger dimensions of 11.4 x 22.9 cm, this envelope is the perfect choice for more extensive documents that have been folded twice, or for inserting additional flyers and reply cards. At Kuvertwelt.de, you will find an exclusive selection of these high-quality C6/5 envelopes, which impress with both their stability and their first-class appearance. Whether for professional business mailings or as stylish packaging for festive occasions, the 114 x 229 mm format combines convenience with elegance.

The designation C6/5 derives from the fact that this envelope combines the height of a C6 envelope (114 mm) with the width of a C5 envelope (229 mm). Compared to the standard DIN long (220 x 110 mm), the 114x229 mm envelope is slightly larger in both directions. This extra space is particularly valuable when sending several sheets of paper or when enveloping is to be done by machine, as the 114x229 envelopes guarantee smooth handling.
When choosing your C6/5 envelopes, paper thickness plays an important role. Many of our products in this category are made from particularly strong paper with a grammage of 120g/m ². This ensures excellent feel and high opacity. As you know, not all papers have a standard weight of 100 g/m²; especially in the DIN Long+ range, we often use heavier grades to emphasize the robust and stable character of these premium envelopes.
Our DIN C6/5 envelopes are almost exclusively equipped with a practical self-adhesive closure (adhesive strip with peel-off strip). This offers you decisive advantages in everyday life, whether in the office or at home:
Who says that functional C6/5 envelopes always have to be white? We offer a wide range of colors to personalize your mail:
A special feature of the DL+ size is that, thanks to its dimensions of 114 x 229 mm, even a conventional DIN long standard envelope (220 x 110 mm) fits flat inside. This makes the C6/5 format the ideal choice for reply letters where you want to enclose a pre-addressed return envelope for the recipient.
